Know-how from our Sialkot workshop

Did you know?

A ring pommel with farming roots

The ring pommel and spear point of this knife recall the Japanese kunai. Historians generally describe the original kunai as a humble tool for digging, prying and masonry work, and its fame as a thrown blade owes far more to films and comics than to history. Most throwing knives from Pakistan, this one included, are sport pieces: a single plate of 2.5 mm stainless steel with nothing to work loose on impact.

Care & maintenance

Keeping a one-piece thrower straight and clean

Steel throwers are among the simplest knives made in Pakistan to look after: with no handle scales, rivets or wood, care comes down to the steel and the point.

  • After each session, wipe off wood fibres, sap and damp from the target; stainless resists rust, but not a week in a wet bag.
  • Look along the edges and tip under a good light: misses against hard surfaces raise burrs, which a fine file or stone removes in a few strokes.
  • Lay the knife on a flat table to check it has not bent, since a bent thrower spins unpredictably.
  • Store it in a closed case or hang it by the ring pommel, out of children's reach, with a light film of oil if your range is humid.
Questions & answers

Range, branding and price questions

How is this throwing knife priced for buyers in Pakistan?

Buyers in Pakistan see the unit price in rupees (PKR) at the top of the page. Clubs, ranges and shops ordering in sets pay a lower rate per piece as quantities grow; message us on WhatsApp or by email with the number you need and we will quote.

Can you supply it under our own brand?

Yes. It ships private-label ready, and custom branding is available on wholesale orders, so retailers can sell knives from Pakistan under their own name. Send us your logo and the quantity, and we will confirm the details.

What target suits a steel throwing knife?

Thick, soft wood: end-grain rounds of poplar, pine or willow take a point well and are less likely to bounce it back. Set the target against a solid backstop, keep everyone behind the thrower and throw only when the range is clear. At 123 g, this knife rewards a smooth, consistent release more than strength.
