Choosing Gift Boxes

Buying guide

Two boxes, many ways to turn a knife into a gift

The choice here is simple: two wooden boxes, each supplied with a 10 cm sharpening rod and a small tin of grease, differing mainly in their lining.

Three kinds of buyer order them. Retailers want a higher ticket from pocket knives they already stock. Corporate buyers prepare long-service and client gifts. Wedding and gift shops put together groomsmen sets. Because the rod and grease sit inside the box, it also answers the question every gift buyer asks: how do I look after this knife?

Before ordering in volume, try your best-selling folders in a sample box to confirm the fit, especially for the larger models. On arrival, check the hinge, the closure and the lining. Boxed Pakistan-made knives from our Wood Handle Folding Knives range make an easy first bundle for the holiday season.

Care & maintenance

Looking after the box, the rod and the grease

A presentation box is part of the gift, so it deserves a little care of its own.

  • Never lay a damp knife on the velvet: the fabric holds moisture against the steel. Wipe and dry the blade first.
  • Brush the lining lightly now and then to lift lint and the fine metal dust left by the sharpening rod.
  • Keep the box away from radiators and direct sun, which dry the wood and fade the velvet.
  • Use the grease sparingly: a thin film on the blade before storage and a trace on the pivot are enough.
  • Wipe the rod after each use so steel particles do not collect in the box.

Shops selling wholesale knives from Pakistan in these boxes can print these five points on a small card and slip it under the lid.

Questions & answers

Gift box questions from retailers

Which knives fit in the gift boxes?

The boxes are designed for folding knives. Since our folders range from small pruning models to 14 cm Damascus pieces, tell us which models you plan to box and we will confirm the fit before you order, rather than leaving it to chance.

Can the box carry our shop name or logo?

Private label is possible on request. Send the artwork, the quantity and the knives the boxes will hold, and we will tell you what marking options are available for that order.

Is there a minimum order for gift boxes?

It depends on the product, so send us your target quantities. Most buyers order the boxes together with the knives that go in them, which keeps the shipment simple and makes sure every box has its knife.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes. We send orders to retailers and importers in many countries; tell us the destination at the quote stage so delivery can be arranged together with the rest of your order.
