About this knife

This fixed-blade dagger pairs a 27.5 cm double-edged stainless steel blade with a central fuller, an oval steel guard and a 13 cm olive wood handle. Crafted in Pakistan, it's the larger sibling of the teak wood dagger in the same range, sized for collectors wanting a more substantial piece. Ships with its own leather belt case, ready for wholesale dagger and collector retail.

Quality check

Handling and checking a 27.5 cm double edge

With two edges and this much length, inspect it slowly, keeping your fingers on the handle and guard only:

  • Lay the dagger flat on a table: the 27.5 cm blade should rest along its length without rocking, a sign it is straight.
  • Follow the central fuller from guard to tip; it should stay in the middle of the blade and fade out evenly.
  • Both edges should carry the same width of bevel, so the point lines up with the centre of the handle.
  • Press the oval steel guard with your thumb: it must not shift against the olive wood.

A Pakistan dagger knife finished to that standard can go straight into a display cabinet.

Did you know?

That groove was never a blood groove

The fuller running down this 27.5 cm blade is often called a blood groove, but that name is a myth. Its real job is structural: removing a strip of steel along the centre lightens the blade while keeping it stiff, much as an I-beam saves weight in a building. Smiths have cut fullers into blades for well over a thousand years, and on this stainless Pakistan dagger it also catches a line of light along the steel.

Questions & answers

Size, price and wall display

What is the price of this dagger knife in Pakistan?

In Pakistan the unit price is displayed in rupees (PKR) at the top of this page. Collector shops and gift retailers ordering several daggers get a better rate per piece as volume grows; send us your quantity on WhatsApp or by email for a quote.

How does it compare with the teak wood dagger?

This is the larger sibling: 27.5 cm of blade against 22.5 cm, with the same central fuller and oval steel guard but an olive wood handle. Collectors who want a more substantial piece usually choose this one.

Can it hang on a wall?

Yes. A pair of padded brackets, one beneath the guard and another close to the pommel end, holds it securely, and the leather case can hang alongside. Kept away from sun and radiators, a knife made in Pakistan like this keeps its olive wood in good condition for years.
