Protecting wood handles inside a padded case
The folders this case is made for have acacia, teak or olive wood handles, and the padding is there to protect them. Keep it doing its job:
- Wipe the knife before sheathing it; food residue rubbed into the padding turns rancid over time.
- Air the case now and then by leaving it open overnight.
- Clean the split leather outside with a lightly damp cloth, and never put it in a washing machine.
- Oil a wooden handle away from the case and let it dry first, or the padding will soak up the oil.
Retailers buying Pakistan knives wholesale can print these four lines on a care card for each customer.
