Questions & answers

Deer folder: lock check and price

Does the lock mechanism feel secure?

Take two minutes on arrival. Open the 11 cm blade fully and check that it stops firmly and stays there. Grip the sculpted handle and press the blade lightly in each direction, keeping your fingers away from the edge: you should feel no play. Then close it; this should take a deliberate push, not happen by accident. If anything falls short, let us know.

What is the price of the deer knife in Pakistan?

The top of the page lists the price for one knife, shown in rupees to visitors from Pakistan. Outdoor and hunting shops ordering by the dozen pay a lower rate per knife; just send your quantity by WhatsApp or email.

Which one to choose

Wildlife trio: deer, boar or beaver

Outdoor shops often stock this deer model beside two wildlife designs from the six-mascot series. All three are a tactical knife in the everyday sense: 11 cm stainless blade, assisted opening, 12 cm black metal handle. The differences:

The deer model stands apart for its sculpted, ergonomic grip.

Care & maintenance

Caring for a sculpted metal grip

A shaped handle fits the hand well, but its curves hide dust in places a quick wipe misses. Like other folding pocket knives with metal frames, this one needs a short routine:

  • Wipe into every curve of the sculpted grip with a damp cloth, then dry it, including around the deer medallion.
  • Keep hand cream, insect repellent and solvents off the rubber inlay; they can leave it sticky or faded.
  • Rinse the 11 cm blade after cutting fruit or anything acidic, and dry it before folding.
  • A drop of light oil at the pivot every month keeps the assisted opening crisp.
Display & retail

Autumn windows for wildlife folders

The deer is a natural lead for autumn, when walking and outdoor season fills the calendar. Build a small window or counter scene around it:

  • Set the deer folder open on an angled stand with leaves, a map and a flask, so the scene reads as outdoors.
  • Group it with the other animal knives by habitat rather than by grip: deer, wild boar and beaver together, rooster and bull for farm themes.
  • State the 11 cm blade and assisted opening plainly on the price card; outdoor buyers compare specifications.
  • A card explaining that these come from Pakistan knife makers in Sialkot answers the origin question before it is asked.
