Questions & answers

Before you carry or stock the teak folder

Is it legal to carry a knife like this?

It depends on where you live and why you have it with you. Rules on blade length, one-hand opening and the purpose of carrying differ between jurisdictions, so read the regulations that apply locally before the knife leaves the house. At home, keep it folded and out of children's reach; shops should confirm age limits before selling it.

What is the price of this tactical knife in Pakistan?

Shoppers in Pakistan see the price of a single knife in rupees at the top of this page and can order it through WhatsApp. If you run a shop or equip a team, tell us how many you need: the rate per piece falls as the order grows, and we reply with a wholesale quote by WhatsApp or email.

Will the black coating wear off?

Along the edge, yes, and that is normal: each sharpening exposes a thin line of bright steel on the 8.7 cm blade. On the flats the matte finish copes with everyday cutting but will scuff where it rubs against keys. The stainless steel beneath is what resists rust, so a quick wipe after use is all it needs.

Which one to choose

Teak, textured metal or a rescue folder?

At 114 g, this is the lightest folder in the textured-grip range and the most understated tactical knife of the lot: an 8.7 cm black-coated blade, a thumb notch and a plain 10.5 cm teak handle. Its twin with the sculpted, finger-choil grip uses the same blade. Beyond that pair, the choice opens up:

Sheath, sharpener and stand for a teak folder

Wood and a black blade look right next to simple, dark accessories. For a Pakistan pocket knife of this size, three add-ons earn their place:

How to use

Opening and closing a thumb-notch folder safely

A thumb notch asks for a little technique, especially the first few times:

  1. Hold the closed knife in your working hand with the edge side facing away from your fingers and your thumb resting on the notch.
  2. Push the notch through a smooth arc until the 8.7 cm blade swings fully open; keep the fingers of your other hand well clear.
  3. Before cutting, check that the blade stands firm and does not wobble.
  4. To close, keep your fingers out of the slot in the handle and guide the spine home slowly, never letting it snap shut.
  5. Wipe the blade and the teak dry before the knife goes back in your pocket.

Those teak scales link this black-bladed folder to the traditional Pakistani knife, which Sialkot workshops have long fitted with wooden handles.
