Dark-handled pocket knives, an old tradition
Folding knives with a single blade are far older than most people imagine. Roman craftsmen were already making knives that folded into their handles, so they could be carried safely without a sheath, and for centuries afterwards wood, horn and bone were among the commonest handle materials, dark woods especially, since they hid the marks of daily use.
This 10 cm folder continues that line. Its walnut-toned wood, polished inox bolster and 8 cm stainless blade give it the sober look of the gentleman's knife once kept in a waistcoat pocket. Among the colourful Pakistan pocket knives of this compact size, it is the one that looks most traditional.
